Every lot in the MLV RV Park is a full-hookup seasonal lot: pull in on May 1st and your lot is yours through September 30th. No reservations, no hauling back and forth. When the season winds down, your RV stays parked on your lot through the off-season (October 1st to April 30th) at no additional charge.
Leases run October 1st through the following September 30th, so your lot is secured well before the next camping season begins.

A seasonal lot at the MLV RV Park is a membership in The Red Door Resort community. Every amenity at the resort is yours to use, all season.

The resort initiates a standard background check for every new member. It keeps the park a safe, family-friendly community.

Yes. Your RV stays on your lot from October 1st through April 30th at no additional charge. Leave it parked and it's ready the moment the season opens May 1st.
No. Water service runs roughly May 1st through September 30th, and overnight camping is not allowed once the water is shut off for the season. The park is not plowed in winter.
Every MLV lot is a full-hookup lot: water, sewer, and 50/30/20-amp electrical service. Electricity is individually metered and billed to you at $0.19 per kWh plus a $60 annual meter access fee. Complimentary WiFi is included.
Each lot has a 12' x 40' gravel pad, with total lot sizes ranging from 2,520 to 3,350 square feet. Lots comfortably accommodate RVs 40 feet and larger, including slide-outs, with room to spread out in a wooded setting.
Three options for the 2026-2027 lease year: pay in full ($2,500 by October 1st), two payments ($1,375 by October 1st and $1,375 by April 1st, $2,750 total), or monthly ($250 by the 1st of each month October through September, $3,000 total, automatic ACH required). Leases renew automatically each October 1st unless written notice of non-renewal is given by September 1st.
Yes. Membership includes a season pass for unlimited boat launching through the Red Door's protected harbor. Seasonal harbor slips can be contracted separately, subject to availability ($750 for the 2027 open-water season).
Yes. Leashed pets are welcome, up to two per lot. Please clean up after them and keep them out of the swimming area. The full pet policy is in the MLV RV Park Rules provided with your lease.
Most members use their own rig facilities, but members also have access to the two shower houses in the resort's fish house parks.
Yes. The Red Door Resort keeps a limited number of short-term, full-hookup RV sites open for nightly and weekly stays from May through September. It is a great way to try the resort before committing to a seasonal site. Check dates and book a nightly RV site online at The Red Door Resort, or call 218-678-3686. If you decide a seasonal site is right for you, current guests and members are welcome to ask about open lots at MLV RV Park.
Yes. The Red Door Resort has seven Lakeside RV lots inside the main resort on the north shore of Mille Lacs Lake in Aitkin, MN, steps from the beach, harbor, and heated pool. Lakeside RV lots lease for $3,040 per year plus metered electricity (2026-27 season) and feature concrete pads that fit rigs up to 35 feet. These lots are in high demand and rarely turn over. MLV RV Park seasonal members get the first opportunity to move to a Lakeside RV lot when one becomes available, so joining MLV RV Park is the best path to a lakeside site.
The Red Door Resort also leases over 200 seasonal fish house lots across three parks for wheelhouses and skid houses, starting at $1,950 per year. Ask the office about pairing a summer RV lot with a winter fish house lot.
